You are living in times that none that you know of have experienced.  There is no place you can go to “look up” what happens next, no one program to guarantee the most successful ascension.  There are no rules or cheat sheets or 12 step programs.  Ascension is self determined.  It has been initiated with your intent and will be undergone by you, in your own unique way.

As seeds undergo the same molecular changes to become trees, yet ultimately look very different – so are you.  This progression is universal – we as a collective are experiencing it at once while you as an individual are determining how it goes for you.  We are doing this together while you are doing this alone.

It reminds me of a dance audition.  There is a room full of dancers and they are all given the same instructions.  So in a very visible way they are all taking the same steps at the same time.  Yet they do not look the same at all. Some are confident, some timid, some graceful and some self-conscious.  Some are ahead, some behind and others right on time.  Depending on your perspective, you’ll see either one dance performed by the group or twenty different dancers, dancing their own way.

This is not an audition for a part, the part is yours.  In a very tangible way you can feel yourself dancing even though you may not be sure what music you are hearing or what the right steps are.

I feel the music changing tempo.  I hear my dance partners saying “I don’t know what’s going on.”  “You can’t believe anything anymore.”  “You can’t count on anyone.”  I see the energetic shifts around me; even my cat is more nuts than usual.  The dance has begun.

So, we are dancing together and right now it’s sort of uncoordinated.  I’ve never done the “Ascension Dance” before but I’ve done others.  In order to not be the “worst in my row” I had to relax, remember I signed up for this, have fun and stay focused.  Laughter helped.  This Ascension Dance is the same.  We’ll be happier dancers if we stay loose and stay focused.

We are the dancers who are doing this one.  No need to question whether or not you are good enough or you’ll remember the steps.  You are and you will.  It’s time to stop searching for the next dance teacher or step by step video presentation.  It’s time to think about how you are dancing.

It is a creative act, the ultimate creative act.  No one can tell you which steps to take and when to take them – you have to choose and you do so by paying attention to how you feel and how it’s going. Once you are self-aware, each step will be taken with confidence.

This is a performance entirely choreographed by you.  You know your strengths, preferences and dreams.  There is no one who is better prepared.

It is time now to do those things we’ve been taught are wasting time.  It is time to listen to your heart speak.  It does, yet we silence it with lists and shoulds and rules and activity.  We’ve learned well and it may be a challenge to unlearn these habits of pre-occupation, but it is necessary.

This is not a call to cease all action; it is a call to take only intentional steps.  Feel this dance, understand how the music sounds to you and proceed accordingly.

There are many distractions and there will be more.  None of them are on the dance floor with you.  It’s your dance.  It requires your attention. 

Remain focused and when you seem to be dancing out of the rhythm of your own heart – stop, breathe, release the moment and find again your heartbeat.  It is there always, guiding you and keeping time, your time.

You are loved beyond your wildest imaginings and there are so many of us eagerly watching this performance.  There is a word for us; we are giving it new meaning this year.  It is Ascender: a person or thing that ascends.

We can call ourselves “The Ascenders”: the ones who ascended.  We are writing the definition right now.  It is a word pregnant with possibilities, of which you are one.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
