With “A Re-Imagination” now released, I thought I’d take a moment to share insights into its creation.
This book has taken a decade to write. One has been speaking about these things since the very beginning.
What is humbling about this process is the fact that at almost every step of the way, I thought I was awake and aware, only to find out that there is more to consider than what appeared on the surface. I’m not always surprised by this, yet I am often taken aback at what I had not seen. Later on, I realize that I should’ve seen it coming. Yet I didn’t.
The reason to bring this up right now is to acknowledge that as society crumbles around us, so do we; and that’s okay. We are One. As above, so below. I submit that perhaps we should have expected this, yet not all of us did, and it’s hard.
The structures and institutions and governments that are dissolving before our eyes are doing so because they will not work in or with the incoming frequency. So too, parts of our personality and our life. What won’t work is on its way out in every instance.
Each day I am filled with regret over something that was said or done before now. I am humbled that there are still loved ones beside me, who’ve forgiven. I’m also feeling a bit dismantled myself, as old patterns of my personality are clearly not working any longer. It is a bit overwhelming and a bit more disconcerting. After all, there are still chores and jobs and relationships and health and spirits to maintain; all as the world burns and takes some of me with it.
What gets me through is the truth. It is love. It is a belief that this is not the end, but the beginning. Just like childbirth, which really hurts, it is temporary and worth it. So worth it.
I believe we are due for not only a better society, built on love, but a better me, a better you, a better us; all of us accepting our authentic selves. All of us coming not from regret, lack, sadness or anger but from love and truth and transparency.
It can be a bit much. Some days are easier than others. Yet, if you don’t hold on too tightly you won’t feel the strain as much. Birthing is less painful if you remain calm.
You are deconstructing yourself as society around you does the same. It is a super-human act that you came to accomplish and you are doing a fabulous job! Know that you are not alone. You can trust your inner truth to get you through this, and hold on to each other as we all do the same, together. Stay focused on your light. You are a beacon for others and it’s time we light this place up!
Here’s 74 pages of wisdom from One, finally compiled into a format (pdf) you can download, copy and share. (Click here) This represents the start of our conversation, (2013-2014), while the recently released book, “A Re-Imagination”, is a handbook of considerations for re-structuring this once-captured society. Both works are informative and encouraging and offer a much-needed break from the headlines. As you read them, remember: We are the Ones we’ve been waiting for. It is time.
With love and so much light,
